- Employment history for the past 10 years
- Traffic accident, violation and conviction history for the past three years
- Criminal history

OEX CDL Driver Requirements
Applicants for professional OTR truck driving positions with Ohio Eastern Express should meet the following requirements:
- two years of (CDL) driving a commercial vehicle
- Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in your state of residence.
- Have a good driving record for the past two years.
- Have a solid employment history.
- Be qualified and able to drive in all 48 contiguous states.
- Be able to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and required drug screening.
- Have no convictions for careless or reckless driving within the past five years.
- Have no recent accidents. OEX will review your motor vehicle record.
- Have no driver's license suspensions within the past three years, no more than one suspension within the past 10 years and no more than two lifetime suspensions.
- Have no drug- or alcohol-related driving convictions within the past three years and no more than one within the past 10 years.
- Have no pending criminal charges.
Additional qualifications may apply. Ohio Eastern Express will review each driver's application and driving history as part of the hiring process.
